they/them - infp - cancer - in a constant state of confusion
and i love marine biology
so i made a website where i can talk about it! yippee!
this is mostly just for my own fun
but i will cite all my sources so it's at least semi-legitimate!
feel free to contact me with any questions/comments!
@ourlesbianofsorrows on tumblr, and email upon request through there!
there are 5 groups of marine mammals: pinnipeds (animals like seals, sea lions, and walruses), cetaceans (such as whales, dolphins and porpoises), sea otters (the smallest marine mammal), sirenians (such as dugongs and manatees) and polar bears (which depend on the ocean for a majority of their food)!
crustaceans are an enthralling group of animals that make up a significant portion of the marine animal kingdom! crustaceans can be anything from lobsters and crabs to shrimps and barnacles, and they come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes!
echinoderms are named after the teeny little spines and spikes on their backs, and they include both sea stars and urchins, sea cucumbers, and both brittle and feather stars!
cephalopods are arguably the coolest group (in my opinion) , with octopi, cuttlefish, nautilus, and squid! They are also super intelligent!
